Tyre sizes
Hey guys,
I recently purchased a new LCI M2, Just wanting to know whats the biggest size tyres people are running? I have a set of aftermarket wheels in a 19x9.5 19x10.5. I've heard that a 255/35 front and 275/35 rear is about as big as you can go ? |

The Dinan S2 M2 is running 265/285 front/rear. Their wheels have the same dimensions as yours.

When I had my M235i and was researching wheel & tire packages, I noticed the setup Dinan had was much larger than I thought the car could handle. I believe it was 235/265 combo. The set fits nicely, looking flush and tucked in. No camber plates. |

Dinan suggest to go with MPSS or P Zero Corsa on their S2 rim and tyre package. Even there are size specs and road index exist to meet certain tire spec desired, they do differ from one another. Meaning that one tyre manufacturer's certain tyre size could actually be different in their diameter from the another tyre manufacturer's same tyre size. Not to mention that it will be "very different" (of course not) but could bring the result of fitment in certain vehicle when you go very aggressive on its set up where small diameter changes can result in rubbing.. See the article below; http://www.tirebusiness.com/article/...ent-dimensions Cheers |
