Not even my ///M coffee mug fits. Too slim and every time I accelerate it falls. At least it doesn't leak when tightened properly.

I do feel in some areas the BMW quality is not as good as some peer german brands and definitively inferior to the Japanese obsession with creature quality. That said japanese cars reliability is inversely proportional to their performance. They're only reliable in utilitarian non-performance models. |

No screws or fasteners, just slip it under the center tunnel trim and bend the top as needed for a tight fit.

I heard this thing once awhile ago about the reason why German cars don't have cupholders, and it's the most German reason ever. When making their vehicles for the enthusiast the engineers felt there should be no reason a driver should ever be eating or drinking in the car, so they omitted cup holders to avoid distractions while driving that could either ruin the experience or get the driver killed.
Personally I don't ever use the cupholders and don't care how crappy they are. |

Just installed this thing. Wow, excellent product. No more tumblers flying in my car when driving the shit out of it.
