Received my strut bar today

Guys when they pulled my car apart to install Coilovers I saw something. That something was a strut bar the car has one standard it runs behind the engine under the rubber

Does not mean it cannot be improved upon. I have had other cars that saw improvement over the standard bar. The new f80 has an additional bar as well.

Yeah I wasn't saying it couldn't be improved was just shocked to see it and unless you had the car apart you wouldn't know you already had one

I am holding out to see how much the f80 bar will be (and if it will fit). This is also my hope for upgraded sways.

So yeah it fits but haven't tried fitting it with engine cover and i don't think it will fit with engine cover on.

Ok so the point is it doesn't fit with the engine cover?

Can you put some thick spacers (washers) under the concerning points for clearance or its not even close?

to be honest i haven't tried it with engine cover but as i said it's not important to have an engine cover anyway.
but it could fit with washers just not sure about the hood height
