^ This was the method I used. 1st grill still wasn't easy. 2nd grill was much easier once I got the hang of it.

In my experience, IND videos don't reflect actual reality. This was particularly true of the video of their painted side reflectors installation. Getting the old reflectors off is nowhere near as easy as they showed and takes far more time to get the first one off until you come to the realization of how much force is actually required. Other people have made the same observations.
As far as the grills, you may completely scratch up your arms getting the first grill off. Once the first grill is off, the second grill is much easier because you can get better access to the retaining tabs by reaching in from the side of the removed grill. Make sure that you use a flashlight to make it easier to see what you're doing.

Do a search for the same question. There is a very long thread on this same topic. I made a post in it on how I did it which is similar to a lot of others.
Good luck!

I had a hard time with this. I would up rigging up a little tool using hand wrench handle and a hex tool. The tool allowed me to angle the wrench and twist it to get the tabs to a point where they would release. See below post for a picture of the tool I made.
