Changing wheel hub
So pulled a wheel off for the first time after getting installed by shop and I've got a stripped lug. How hard is this to change myself? Special tools? Other options? I don't want to just re tap.

If it's a front probably not bad. Remove all brake components. 4 bolts probably too swap the hub assembly. Reinstall brakes.
For the rear add axle nut removal and possibly one bolt from the suspension. May need a puller tool too in order to get the axle pushed out of the hub assembly. |

Damn, sorry to hear this. You just got those wheels! Unfortunately, a lot of non-specialized tire shops freak out when they see a fast Euro car, and tend to over torque the lug bolts to hopefully minimize the risk of the wheel coming off the hub.
Hope the links below help, but you should really go after the tire shop for compensation. Front https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...kle/1VnXx2PqWu Rear https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...heel-bearings/ |

Not to difficult job at all. Can post up a DIY if anyone's interested.
