Hi all,

Ive searched the forums and saw a few old posts on blackvue battery installation. I really wanted to have mine in the boot/trunk. However in my car it’s not able to be flat or fully against the wall like others. It’s just in the cubby leaning snug towards the wall.

Is there anything wrong with this? Ie if the battery is upright it could explode etc?

I saw some people have them under their seats, but I have heated seats so worried that the heat could have implications on the battery, or even the heater.

I havent turned camera on with battery yet until I know it will be safe in the position in the pic.

Would like to see how others have put theirs in the trunk or if they have under seats with heated seats? (Note, I dont want to attach it to the roof of trunk with the cage some people have).
