Coming up a helical ramp in a public garage last year, made it too close to the center and also belted the rear passenger side rim against the border. The ramp was painted in dark gray - so was the border which I just did not see.

It did not look nice at all - grinded to bare metal in some areas. I repaired it this spring with the help of a great DIY post on this site. It looks very good now - only those who know can tell that is has been repaired.
