My 428i will be delivered next week. Thinking to do some coding.
Just want to know a few questions:
- what kind of cable should I get for 428i or the cable just works for all BMW?
- what is the token for ?? do I need the token or just cable and software?

Congratulations on your new car

You will need a OBDII Cable - Ethernet to OBD Interface Cable for BMW

You will need to acquire the following: 'PsdzData', 'Premium Token Launcher' & 'Esys'. The token is used for activating 'Esys' without it you can only read FA & SVT.

In short you will need cable, laptop, Software * Token is included

Cool. thanks. I will get a cable from Ebay and give it a go. Surly will shot some questions if I stuck.
