ECU unlocked and flashed! 487whp

22RPD in Renton, WA unlocked and flashed my ECU along with dyno tune.

2020 M2C DCT - bone stock on 92 octane

Pulls we're done in 4th gear.
5th gear made 491whp.

I will add catless downpipes later which would bring the numbers up to about estimated 520whp

What boost pressures we looking at here? Octane?

Happy to see the guys at 22rpd are all set to tackle the unlock now! I've got to get over and run another dyno to get a post-tune comparison to my pre-tune baseline.

A bit low compared to what? It's a custom tune. And actually, it's right on par with what PTF and Jordan Tuning claim as well for a Stage 1 Tune on a stock car: 480-490whp.

Check the other thread where someone else made 523whp with a tune and catless DP's which makes sense since catless DP's add around 30whp.

I was going to ask if anyone had figured out the exact difference between the factory M2C tune and the 444 hp M4C tune, but I guess with these numbers there is no need.

I have a friend looking to buy an OG M2 like mine or an M2C, and I told him the difference wasn't massive, but it appears I was wrong. Looks like the M2C is a damn monster with just a tune.

Yeah OG m2 and M2C are completely different. I dyno'd at 440wtq 438whp stock no tune.

If I’m reading the Dyno sheetcorrectly it makes less power until it hits about 5200 rpm.

No. The tune is the red and yellow line. It makes more power from the start but the biggest gains are between 45000 rpm 7000 rpm

This is power to the wheels. Crank power is about 570hp

What's worth noting is the increase in power across the curve, not the actual rated hp number. The car stock isn't making 430 whp. But the tune is producing over 50 more whp. Also nice to see at 4500 rpms the tune is creating as much hp as stock at 6500.

Hows the car feel? I bet it's a riot. Are you limiting power at all in the lower gears?

Yes, the power increase between 4500 rpm and 7000 rpm is very noticeable and the tuner said this is the best they can do until I add catless downpipes because the stock exhaust back pressure is limiting flow and the turbos.

Also, there are other 2020 M2C that have dyno at 410-430whp bone stock so this is nothing new.
