Does the navi screen go down when you lock the car or what not? Any worries about the sun or heat affecting the navi electronics especially in places like Southern California?

Nope, the screen is not retractable.

The carbon feels like plastic not vinyl, it's not clear coated so you can feel the actual weave.

Thanks for the comments.

And living in the uk means heat affecting the screen isn't a concern lol

Oh and if driving manual, a cool feature of the wheel in Eco mode is it will flash to tell you to change up if coasting in a low gear. It's very clever!

Ordered the hk speakers for the doors and the matching tweeters last week.

Got silver front indicators fitted and now looking at bms spacers

I ordered my car with the cold weather package.. is it safe to assume that I lose the heated steering wheel if I switch to the mperformance steering wheel?

Yeh performance wheel can't be heated. Over here we don't have packages so I just ordered heated seats anyway

Thanks for the answer. I am on the fence with this wheel. I will admit I was extremely impressed when I first saw it. However, from a practicality stand point, do you find that after awhile it would be annoying to constantly see the lights flashing? I know you can perhaps turn them off but that would defeat the purpose of having it. Since you've been driving with it, what are you thoughts on that?

To be honest I very rarely see the lights. They are set to red at 7000 rpm so don't ever start to light up until about 5500 which basically means you need to fully engage kick down in sport mode or be in full manual to get the revs to hold that long so it's fine by me. It's only ever lit when I am driving hard so it's perfect
