FS: **REDUCED** 2006 330i 14K miles, $28,950K, loaded, exc cond
I am parting with my 2006 330i as I have a 2009 335i sedan that is arriving soon. Details are as follows: 2006 330i sedan in Sparkling Graphite Metallic over gray Dakota leather, with burl walnut wood trim. Approximately 14,100 miles on the odometer. Offered at $28,950. Car is located in Lafayette, California. The car has been garaged since new, meticulously cared for by a BMW fanatic (always hand wash and detailed), and is in excellent condition. Maintenance has been performed beyond the manufacturer’s recommendations (oil/filter and rear differential fluid changed at 1,200 miles; oil/filter then changed at 7,000 and 10,750 miles). All records are available. Car is stock--no modifications have been made. Options are as follows (in the interest of saving space I am not describing each of these options but rather assuming the reader is familiar with them): Six-speed Automatic Transmission Sport Package Premium Package Cold Weather Package Comfort Access Power rear/manual side window shades Park Distance Control Navigation iPod Adapter The car also has a moonroof, bi-xenon adaptive headlights, automatic climate control system, rain sensing windshield wipers, dynamic cruise control and a Harmon Kardon Logic 7 premium sound system with digital signal processing. A clear bra (3M product) protects the front bumper, hood, headlights/foglights and mirrors. BMW all-weather mats (rubber) and a new set of BMW carpeted floor mats included. The Bluetooth system will sync with cellular phones and offers hands-free operation. Voice activation system controls the telephone, audio, navigation and climate control systems. BMW's four-year/50K mile Full Maintenance Program, warranty and roadside assistance will be in effect until late March 2010 (unless the car reaches 50K miles before then). I welcome any serious questions or inquiries on this beautiful car. I can send pictures to interested parties (haven't figured out how to post them).

lowballing or not... he is right, lots of fully loaded 330i's going for around the $25k make and some even below... probably not ones with under 15k miles on them but... they are falling in value right now. I think its a few hundered bucks short of a good deal and a quick sale.
Good luck on the sale OP |

well its most likely attributed to the sinking economy. some people need out of their luxury automobiles and to get out of them, they end up selling a little below blue book.
don't get me wrong its a good deal, however I think around the $30-31k mark you'll find similarly equipped 330's that are certified and for sale by dealers. Private party prices are usually about $2-3k lower than this, sometimes even more depending on how desperate the seller is, which unfortunately for the OP, seems to be more and more common in the current economy. I think this car is priced just at the edmunds TMV private party price so it's a pretty good deal, and damn.... you can't beat 15k miles on an 06... its almost like he didn't drive it... which is also not very common for a car as cherry as this. |

Look at it from a sellers perspective... Sticker price was approx 48k, so in 24 months the write-off comes down to 1k a month (even worse, $24k and only 14k miles = $1.70/mile write off). Makes you cry, doesn't it... So a 2 year old fantastic Limited production (05-06) 330i with low miles for only ~25-28k makes me wish I've waited 2 years... Never suspected these prices were possible 2 years ago when I purchased my new similar equipped 330i. Bump for the seller.

Since last month, our dollar was at par with yours, correct? I was trying to benefit myself by picking up a semi-used car within the USA. That car happened to be a E90 330i. I made sure I wasn't buying from a dealer since I'd be paying a hefty premium on top of the sale price. |

Question for the OP
I've done this before, so I know it's risky getting a new car and trying to sell your current one.
How come you didn't just trade it in?
