Planning to do the NC500 this summer in the M235 (done it back in 2017 in my old Fiesta ST), no road trip in the UK tops the highlands one in my opinion 👏🏻 |

Arrgggggh, Car due to be collected on Wednesday, and just been informed by the dealer that they can't get hold of the gloss black parts, as they are out of stock.
Thats a headache I could do without. |

Try different Dealer group as sometimes they have different stock levels.

Looks incredible! I've ordered mine in this spec with the standard 18" alloys. What sort of MPG are you getting as an average from the car? |

On the motorway and when driving sensible you can expect high 20s/low 30s. |

Blimey I would expect a little more on a motorway, even my tuned A4 2.0tfsi, 250ps 400Nm, will see 30-35mpg around town and 45 on a run. I expect the M235i to do less but not that less. I understand that no-one really buys a performance car for economy but you must be driving very 'briskly'...

Do you keep it in sport mode or switch depending on your journey? Sounds boring but I'll probably be in normal/eco on journeys to work then stick it in sport for the weekends etc...

Appreciate that thank you! Have you found that you get a few more pops and bangs from the exhausts the more you break the car in and get more miles on the clock?

During the run in period I was averaging 38 miles per gallon and on a decent journey (A roads) I was topping out at 45! Now the car is run in I'm using a combination of comfort and sport mode with the gearbox in sport also and I'm still up above 30. 32 to be exact. Goodness knows how you can get it so low. must have a sledgehammer for a right foot! |
