Forgive me, I've never used an oiled filter. Does it come oiled? Do I need to re-oil it? Clean it? What's the process for cleaning? or do I just replace it? How often? Again, never used an oiled filter so I'm really curious...

There is also a dry version that doesn't require any oil. |

A few HP over a grubby stock filter.
Many oiled filters actually decrease performance from stock after they have been installed in the car for a while and have gathered some dirt. You are typically better off leaving it stock unless you are going to fastidiously clean and re-oil the filter on a very regular basis. |

Does this mean a 28% increase in flowrate at the same pressure drop? What kind of pressure drop across the filter do you get at different air rates?

We measure filters on flow benches and the results are a percentage, see this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=flow+bench |
