How would you spend a million on cars?

assuming you came into a cool million that you were free to spend on cars and you had the storage to park up to 10 cars how you would spend the million?

here's my list (all in canadian dollars)

1. 458 ($300,000 on the road for a low mileage newer model)
2. 991.2 GT3 Touring ($250,000 on the road)
3. 2012-2015 R8 V10 6MT coupe ($150000 on the road)
4. 2015-2016 Vantage GT 6 mt ($100000 on the road)
5. low mileage E86 Z4 Coupe 3.0si 6MT, ($30000 on the road)
6. low mileage 1999-2000 Z3 Mcoupe (s52) ($50000 on the road)
7. low mileage 2014-2016 Boxster GTS 6mt ($70000 on the road)
8. 2022 Toyota F86 6 MT as my daily ($35000 on the road)

(thinking about this when I go to bed is way better than counting sheep )

No idea what these cars cost right now, but I'll guess and try to stay under 1 million.

1. R33 or R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R
2. Dodge Charger 440 R/T
3. E30 M3 Sport Evolution
4. Ferrari F430 with manual box
5. Track membership with leftover funds

Trying to think of all the cars that had an impact on me that I didn't already own or inside the million dollar price range, and this is all that's left.

The lastest and greatest Lamborghini that comes close to 1 million $ and 9 cheap and well used budget cars that I could give away when the scouts are collecting used items for resale.

Knowing me... I get bored of every car pretty quickly so I would just keep the million on hand to buy whatever low mileage used car tickles my fancy at the time.

I don't think I would want to own any exotics. I imagine the repairs would eat into my million plus I'm an introvert and I don't like the attention they bring. Might set aside some of the million to rent exotics from time to time.

I'm guessing that was not the right answer

Cayman GT-4 for fun
Honda Ridgeline (had an older one, loved it) for utility.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrafoglio for hauling one or two kids.
Land Cruiser for hauling all the kids

Leaves me a bunch of cash for a sweet garage setup

Dream:
1) E92 M3, 6MT
2) Z4M Roadster
3) E36 M3
4) M2CS or G87 LCI
5) Tundra
6) 06-ish RR Phantom
7) 997.1 GT3
8) Aventador Roadster
9) Dodge Viper ACR Gen 5
10) Taycan 4S

Comes right at around 1 million. And this is exactly why I'd rather do this than say 1 Pagani Huyra, and have all these different driving experiences.

Reality:
1) E92 M3, 6MT
2) Z4M Roadster
3) E36 M3
4) M2CS or G87 LCI
5) Tundra

I enjoy the wrenching more than the driving, so probably reserve at least $100-$200k of it on (cheaper) cars with endless aftermarket potential.

In the spirit of the game I realise one cannot spend half a mill and bank the rest but I assume we can put a bit aside to mod? I have a rather odd list with no true exotics as I find them a but much for the road.

1) 997 911 GTS Cabriolet
2) Alfa Romeo Alfaholics Giulia GTA-R
3) Alfa Romeo 4C Spider
4) Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6 Restomod
4) Catheram Seven 420
5) Holden Special Vehicles GTS Commodore Wagon
6) Saab 9-3 V6 Wagon - Heavy mods
6) Ford GT350

That outta do it.

I'm not sure who's keeping track here, but i'm going to need to change my answer a little. Please remove the Landcruiser and replace it with a Tahoe. Gray or silver, black steel wheels, push bar, fake light bar on the roof and a pillar spotlight. The best road trip cars are those that are, or appear to be cop cars. I've logged a gajillion (give or take) highway miles in both marked and unmarked cars and I can tell you - NOBODY camps the left lane. Best way to travel
