BBS RIAs - 18x10.5+22 squared, 275/35 squared V730s

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 3,200.00

Item Interest
Selling BBS RIAs for a friend.

Wheels in fair condition. Subtle flaws, none that impact the structural integrity of the wheels themselves.

Include Kumho V730 tires in 275/35 squared, plenty of tread left.

Not incredibly flexible in terms of price. I urge those keen to negotiate to first find a cheaper set of BBS RIAs first.

Local to Boulder/Denver. Willing to ship at buyer’s expense.

Cheers

Has anybody looked into shipping on these? Is the cost to ship with tires what’s causing these to not sell? Can’t imagine these would be for sale for almost 3 months unless it’s a price issue

It boggles my mind.

I’ve seen similar sets sell for closer to $4k on FB marketplace…I refuse to net under $3k on these wheels, yet everyone seems to want these for $3k shipped to their door. Not happening.

I’ve quoted close to a dozen people for shipping thus far. Varies between roughly $200 and $400 depending on location.

Do you have box dimensions and weight? I’ll look into shipping costs. Any pictures of the wheels actually cleaned up?

The sizing seems very aggressive. Did these fit without rubbing or did you have to add a lot of camber?

I think shipping is causing these not to sell as quickly as you’d like. To be fair these are $3700 new with free shipping. This set seems ideal for a local buyer.

You’d want at least -3deg camber up front to fit these…but then again, with any spirited driving in these cars you’d want -3deg of camber anyways. These cars are quite heavy, and respond great to negative camber.

Where did you see $3700? I spec’d out a set on System Motorsport’s website for $3900 (excluding tax) with free shipping. Then you have to factor in another ~$1000 for tires if purchasing new. Yes you’ll have new wheels and tires, but you’ll be out another $1500-$2000 when compared to my set.

I’d be willing to sell these wheels for $3,500 shipped anywhere within the US. Considerably cheaper than any other option on the market.
