Do you know if there is a difference between the 435 H&R springs and the M4 H&R springs? I noticed that the colors are different. I have the 435 springs on my car

the M4 springs drop the rear of the car a little more. the front drop between the two I believe are identical. for me I liked the more even level look I got with the 435 spring set up over the M4 but that as you know is always subjective on the end user

Looking awesome! I wish a 19" HRE Mono would clear the CCB. Almost pissed I got those. Can't wait to watch the rest of the build!

yea HRE and also the BBS wheels are unable to clear the CCB at this time but I'm sure its just a matter of time before they fix that.

I saw a couple pics of your car on our fan friday instagram, your car is shaping up sick as I would expect!

What specifically about the spoiler do you not like? I've got a BSM on the way, and plan on doing very similar to what you have (great minds think alike, haha), but now you have my second guessing the spoiler. I guess I'll see what I think when you post those other pics up Saturday.

first off congrats on the new ride, I bet you can't wait to get it! Im excited for you

The spoiler is awesome don't get me wrong but the way it sits on the boot with the tape (I may have done it wrong) it bugs me. It also is no where near as sturdy as the e9xM spoilers were I had prior.

I think it looks awesome on the car and I think when I take it off and re install it with thinner 3m tape it will change my mind . I just know next one I get I will opt to have it installed at the port with beta link.

I have never used 3M tape on the spoilers in the past so every time I drive I find myself constantly looking to see if the spoiler is still there and has not flown off! After all these parts are not cheap!

3M double-sided adhesive is very strong as long as proper prepping measures are taken.

Make sure any wax, dust or buildup is removed - soap and water isn't enough as most have waxes/sealants in them.

I'll use 3M 08984 General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner and a microfiber beforehand. Once pressed on, it's not going anywhere.

With a small amount of heat (or left in the sun) to soften the tape, use dental floss/fishing line in between the spoiler and decklid to cut the adhesive slowly while removing the spoiler. While I don't think it would happen with new installs, I've seen old badge removals actually take the clearcoat with it when ripped off.

Remove excess adhesive balling it up with your thumb with the large parts and residue with 3M Adhesive remover listed in previous post. It's simple, just take your time.

What do u mean "installed at the port with beta link"? Reason I ask is because I'm gonna order all these parts and have them installed before I take delivery. So I was just wondering what u meant by that.

if you submit performance parts as part of your order you can have the parts not only rolled into your payment etc.. but you can have the parts installed at the port. I am not exactly sure the timeline you have to have this happen but I believe David told me prior to production starting.

I had 3 of the 4 spoilers installed at the port and were all installed with beta link. you figure those guys install so many parts they have it down to a science.

Thanks, I am super excited... the anticipation is killing me . In regards to the spoiler, that makes sense. If the tape is thick and makes it look almost as if it's floating I could see why you wouldn't like it. That re-assures me a lot, thanks!

Where you getting the 3M from?

I just installed a spoiler on my E93 and the tape seems way too thick... Like 3-4 credit cards thick.

Autozone is where I got mine and it was the only thickness available. How thin did you find some?

The 3M that came with the spoiler was very thin. the only stuff we had at the dealership is the thicker stuff which I'm sure you used as well. The town I live in has one auto store (lucked out they just opened one) I'm hoping they have it there or we have a hardware store which I'm sure they have it as well. Either way I want to find a thinner application other then what I currently have on there now

Good luck! I guess it's tougher than I thought to find the right tape to use.

Thanks for the info
