e92 M3 Service Prices
My car is almost 60K miles and I plan to do my own service. I ask the dealer about the extended maintenance price ($3.3k) and performing service without the extended plan...I Attached a quick table comparing the prices, Doing the job by our self is cheaper but is always good to know...
I don't know if I need to go to the dealer for a Service Check or if I can do it my self and reset the warning message...What is this by the way? I ask the dealer and they toldme ...."mmm we check everything, REALLY?????" Thanks, Jose |

I am convinced based on my experience so far at my local BMW service department (including the amount of time between the service guy said they were starting on the car and when they were done) that they did nothing at all for the service check other than maybe check for codes plus the accompanying oil change.

^ thanks for sharing!
It's obvious, the most expensive part of maintenance is the labor if you have to pay to have it done. Unfortunately, I will have to pay for it. As regards to the "service check", I think this is on the maintenance booklet, it just says the tech will have to check suspension points, fluid levels, and brake wear, etc. Valued at $180, I think not. |
