Above-brake cover panel

Hi guys,
I recently got a 2022 220i and when cleaning the car I realised the area right above the brake is exposed, as show in the photo. Is it the same for other 2022 220i's? I contacted the dealership and the sale consultant said there's no cover?

It's the same on mine, you can't see it unless you really put your head in there so I don't think this is an issue.
