335i turbo tuner?
does anyone know if putting a turbo tuner on a lease 335i could end up costing me if it messed with the car -- ? is are they fairly safe on the engine? basically --could they blow up the engine??
also anyone know how much those tuners would effect the gas mileage? tks |

I put a turbo tuner on my cat and voided his warranty. Be careful.

I agree with the comment. This issue has been debated ad nauseum in this forum. Everybody has their own opinion and their value to you is exactly what you pay for them.
In short...it is a tune that has proven to be extremely reliable and very moderate. It is easy to install and remove. If the manufacturer proves that the SSTT led to a failure, they will deny warranty coverage for that problem. Your car will also be flagged so that any future warranty issues will be viewed with skepticism. All that presumes that you leave the SSTT installed during a service visit. If you are not prepared to pay, don't play... HOWEVER note that many BMW dealership parts departments now sell the SSTT.
