Cobb stg2+ v301 or v401?

Im still a little lost here on which one i should use as the v301 seems to pull harder throughout the entire rpm range while v401 seems to lvl out around 5k rpms.

I got my car dynoed and seems like all power dropped back to stock after about 5k rpms on v401 stg2+

I am still on v301 as I've been too lazy to try out v401. I've been pretty happy with v301 though (trapping 117mph in the 1/4 mile consistently), so that might be another reason why I haven't switched.

yeah i think im just going to stay with v301 until cobb releases something better than v401 as i didnt have issues with v301 except that slight continuous pulling after i let off the throttle which is still there in v401.

Do you mind posting up your dyno results? I'm holding off on switching to v4.01 until it comes out of beta.

its on a piece of paper so i cant post up the graph but basically stock was 270whp/280wtq and v400 with stg2 (not stg2+) was 350whp/410wtq

but the thing is after around 5k rpms all the numbers drop really hard back to around 300whp/310wtq and flatlines there til redline. its really weird and the car feels the same way with the fmic and stg2+

but with v301 it feels a lot better as in it pulls all the way through...but it could be because of the heat now so i dont know.

Unless you compared the two versions on the dyno the same day, you can't be sure.

I've tried V3.01 and V4.00 and both feel great. V4.01 had some issues where I get timing pulls and codes (no limps or anything of that sort). I've flashed V4.01 today and will be running it for a couple of days to send logs to COBB.
