Exclamation HRE FlowFormed Wheels for the F30

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys, Figured I'd give you some details on HRE's FlowFormed line since there have been few details shared with the F30 community. Here are some of the tasty details, and pictures courtesy of Bimmerpost member mkhan526, Simpson Photography and HRE Wheels. Some of these pictures have been posted in the Media section.

“The FlowForm line is something we wanted to create for HRE brand enthusiasts who have aspired to own a set of HRE wheels, for those who have wanted to experience being a part of the HRE family, but simply couldn’t afford it,” said HRE President Alan Peltier. “Instead of having to settle for an inferior brand, now they can buy a genuine set of HREs and know they can trust the quality and know that HRE will stand behind them just as we do with our most exclusive products.”

The new line is created using a high-tech low-pressure cast flow-forming process providing a level of precision, strength and attention to detail expected of an HRE. The first HRE FlowForm model features timeless design inspired by the latest P40SC in ready-to-mount sizes for specific makes and models. The wheels are all engineered and tested to the same standards of HRE’s forged products and will carry TUV certification for sale in Europe and JWL/VIA certification for sale in Japan.

HRE Flow Formed FF01 Features:
  • Light Weight & Strong 1 Piece Flow Formed rim (Starting at 22lbs Ea)
  • Modern Conical profile
  • CNC machined to custom specifications for your specific application
  • OE TPMS and lug hardware compatible for ease of installation
  • Available in 19”, and 20"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

HRE Flow Formed Available in Gloss Silver & Satin Black

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

F30 Fitments

  • 19 Inch : (19x8.5 ET30 Front, 19x10 ET40 Rear)
  • 20 Inch : (20x8.5 ET30 Front, 20x10 ET40 Rear)

Always dreamed of having a set of HRE's. I'd love to see a 19X9 on a scale.

Can you make that happen???

9" ET30 is too aggressive... ET35 would be better. Even when lowered the rim is outside the fender. You need to slam the car to make it sit flush.

Agreed! 19x9 ET 30 would definitely be a squeeze.

These narrow wheel wells on the F30 are quite the annoyance.

I have it on my HRE's and John and Cortney had it on their P44SC's too. It fits without issues but it is too aggressive if you ask me. But people like different things!

Very true. Different strokes for different folks!

A lot people don't want to have to play around with offset and want a guaranteed fit. That's definitely the benefit with the FlowFormed series.

We offer custom powdercoating services that can match HRE's colors and a fraction of the cost custom coating would cost from the factory.

mine is 9 wide ET30, fit just fine & it sit flush, could even go lower on the offset.
but when u are into stance then this consider to be very mild fitment, i seen worse poke then this on an F30 fender.

As I said above I have it too and the actual rim is outside the fender. It is not that noticeable now when lowered but I thought it looked quite bad when on stock suspension. Looks like you bought the wrong wheels.

most big wide wheels look awful on stock suspension, but when lowered then it's different story.
this is how 9 ET 30 fitment looks like,

no poke fitment & look flush to me.
everybody have different taste in fitment.

What size tires are you running on the front? It looks like a skinny fitment from that picture.

a very thin 245/30/20 Pirelli P-Zeros
kinna regretted choosing 30 profile might go 35 when these tire wear out.

I want to go bigger (higher) too, but can't find a size that won't be oversized.
I'm running 9" fronts and 10.5" rears so you need 245's at least up front and 275+ in the rear

Thanks
