Hi, a weird thing happened with my car today.
As I was accelerating from a stop sign in DS mode, my car held the rev at ~6,000 RPM in 2nd gear without shifting. I was worried and quickly shifted my car back to D mode where it resumed normal driving However, my car seems different now. Even at 80-85 MPH, it never goes past 3.1k RPM in DS mode, it used to go at least 3.4k+ RPM. Also my car only hovers at ~2,500 RPM when going 75 MPH...it used to be at least 2,700-2,800. I think RPM is lower by an overall of 200-300. Does anyone know if there might be a problem with my engine? |

I had similiar situation, when I got stuck in second all the way pass 6000 rpm when I was making a turn. Transmission refused to upshift. This was in D though.
The next day it was stuck again, not sure which gear. Never happenned since. That GM transmission is probably not the best out there. |

Is DSC or DTC active when you're doing this! It could just be that the system is preventing tire slip. Try It next tome with DTC ON
