Disable horn when lock while engine running
Hi,
After updating to 11/2022.60, i am unable to find VAM_HORN_AT_SECURE under BDC7083 anymore. Anyone know how to code to disable horn when locking while engine is running? |

There have been occasions where on a road trip, I’ll stop by a self serve car wash and leave my fiancé and dog in the car with engine running whilst I wash my car. It irks the hell out of me when the horn goes off each time I pressure wash near the door handles, so I can relate

Hi guys.
i-STEP 11/2022 is different for parameter mapping of VAM_HORN_AT_SECURE. Please try you this parameter mapping. VaMaster_4_4_2 nicht_aktiv(00) -> aktiv(01) Thanks! |

Hi phayze.
Umm, I don't check the 03/2023.50 i-STEP. I think BMW changed an mapping from 03/2023.50. It's difficult finding that parameter because I have not the 03/2023.50, sorry. |

Hi Pyo_man,
I have code using bimmercode. I have save the before and after code CAFD file. I compare both file and found the one different to on VaMaster_4_4_6 and another on signature. These are the 2 differences when i compare both files. |

Just stumbled upon this thread and gotta say, it's like a breath of fresh air in a world full of car talk. Checking out those sleek rides, it's enough to make anyone's heart rev up like a well-tuned engine. But let's talk about the elephant in the room – those air horns. Now, that's a feature that'll definitely turn some heads (and probably make a few neighbors jump!).
As for my take on it, I'm all for personalizing your ride and adding your own flair. It's like giving your car its own unique personality, right? And those air horns? They're like the cherry on top – loud, proud, and impossible to ignore. Plus, they can come in handy for those moments when a regular horn just won't cut it. Is there any possibility to use the car's horn to honk when locking and unlocking the car?
Right now the sound comes from the alarm system. |
