Hi,

I'm going to pick up one of the dcan coding cables off fleabay this week but I'm not sure which one to get. There seems to be a vast range of prices for these things.

Are they all the same? I've heard that the £20 jobbies may cause errors and be unable to connect with some modules but if I spend say £50 am I then safe? People have linked to the one with the blue usb cable and the separate box, but even these have wildly differing prices. What's the crack? One seller (total_diagnostic) even seems to have the exact same listing for both £59.99 and £69.99!

Most or all of them give errors.
You may be able to read the errors from these, but when it comes to reading different modules (such as airbag), most of them will give you error.
Same goes for programming.

If you are after code reading and resetting only, you can go for any of these.
However if you have a plan to do further more, especially coding, then get one from authentic source, which may cost you upto £150.
