Picked up my car about 3 weeks ago. It's a used/new (first owner) 2009 335i that was a BMW Canada purchase that sat in Germany for whatever reason until November of 2010.

Love the car so far... i've had the HPFP software update done to it and it's going back for another recall (some new one that juts came out - i'm guessing it's the actual pump this time). Sounds like another free car wash

Details:
335i - 6spd
M-package
Executive package
iDrive
6 disc changer
etc...

I just recently had the car tinted at Thornhill Tints (great guys there) and they noticed a few items that they have not seen before in a Canadian 335i (they do dealer work for 2 different BMW's so they see tons of these)

M-package - apparently the 2009 did not have this as an option in Canada (sweet)
Armrest at the front, individually adjustable
Rear headrests, folding: all three of them
Sunblind - electric for rear window

As if I didn't already love the car... this makes it that little bit more special (for me any way

Anyway... just wanted to say hi and look forward to all the great info from this site

Very nice. I'm pretty sure the M package was an option in 2009 though. You're just picking it up and it has 430 KM?

Correct on the 430 km... the IN service date is November 25, 2010

... I have over 2,200 km on it now and am going to Mt. Tremblant on Monday with it...

As far as the M-package goes all that really matters is that it's on there

Congrats. Nice car. The folding headrests and individually adjustiable arm rest are cool.

very sweet ride...i saw that car online and wished my 335 looked like that

how do you feel the car drives after the software update?
also dealer car washes suck....unless your going for the swirled look!

I didn't really notice much of a difference after the update. Mind you i didn't really push the thing as i was still in the 2000 km "break in" period, as per the manual. I did notice that my fuel mileage improved, which i guess is the opposite of what people are saying on here.

I must say i was pretty happy with the job they did down at BMW Toronto including the car wash. But i guess that has a lot to do with how dirty it was before i took it in.
