Really pisses me off when this sort of thing gets blamed entirely on the West for the Iraq wars - because it's total BS.

Interfering in the Middle East with no exit strategy was stupid in the extreme but there are migrants in this country who have BY CHOICE made no effort whatsoever to respect any local values or the country they have chosen to move to.

There is now plenty coverage in various news groups / papers.

One of the biggest complaints outside of the actual thefts, sexual assaults and violence, was the fact everything had been reported as being a great no problems new year.

The news agencies, the police and some politicians appear to have been scared to actually report bad things concerning refugees and immigrants.

This will get worse, having people come from countries where women are treated like animals and have pretty much no rights, to a free free and open society will result in this.

The police need to take a very firm stance on this and Europe needs to reevaluate how it handles crimes committed by immigrants, refugees and those who have recently obtained residency.

Thank you for the links, I will have a read, it's my weekly catch up today.

However, is it really hard to predict that tens of thousands of military age, muslim cowards coming to Europe will cause a massive social problems in an open and free minded society? Really?? The worst thing is one cannot call it what it really is not to offed some sensitive types. It's an organised INVASION.

The sad fact though is that it isn't a problem limited to recent immigrants. I saw exactly this kind of behaviour in the 80' and 90's in various countries with large North African populations. These were in many cases second generation immigrant youths. People born and brought up in the West but still clinging to that childish and repulsive machismo that the media here simply don't decry as it is apparently part of their "cultural heritage" and so OK.

Yep totally aware of that.

Had plenty experience in Gibraltar with Moroccan quarter (hodge podge of North Africans).

Admittedly it's not limited to that geographical area, we had similar with certain Eastern European countries.
