M135 Gear lever Desolving Internally

Has anyone had an issue with the resin desolving inside the gear lever...? I have a 2020 m135 with only 5000 miles but the black resin in the gear lever appears to be desolving on each side..!

BMW say I must of hit it (which I haven’t) but claim it’s not a warranty replacement.

It looks like someone in the G20 UK forum is also having issues that sound similar to yours.

I let the user know it’s exactly the same issue and BMW are replacing it under warranty.
