Quality innit.

Planning to do the NC500 this summer in the M235 (done it back in 2017 in my old Fiesta ST), no road trip in the UK tops the highlands one in my opinion 👏🏻

Does the weather there effect car color? Looks more like Snapper Blue than Storm Bay Metallic. LOL

That 2GC is definitely not storm bay.. storm bay goes gray to light blue depending on lighting. It's Snapper Rocks Blue.

Arrgggggh, Car due to be collected on Wednesday, and just been informed by the dealer that they can't get hold of the gloss black parts, as they are out of stock.

Thats a headache I could do without.

Try different Dealer group as sometimes they have different stock levels.

Was torn between the Snapper rocks blue and the storm bay and have no regrets choosing Storm Bay, think the colours stunning personally.

My best mates got a new S3 and got a bit jealous with the noise it makes hahaha, poor Rev limiter on the Audi

Cars a bundle of fun

Here's a couple of pics in the flesh.

Looks incredible! I've ordered mine in this spec with the standard 18" alloys. What sort of MPG are you getting as an average from the car?

I average about 17-19mpg which is mainly from city driving (not exactly driving like a gran either 👀&#128514.

On the motorway and when driving sensible you can expect high 20s/low 30s.

Blimey I would expect a little more on a motorway, even my tuned A4 2.0tfsi, 250ps 400Nm, will see 30-35mpg around town and 45 on a run. I expect the M235i to do less but not that less. I understand that no-one really buys a performance car for economy but you must be driving very 'briskly'...

Do you keep it in sport mode or switch depending on your journey? Sounds boring but I'll probably be in normal/eco on journeys to work then stick it in sport for the weekends etc...

I don't really use Eco that much at all, maybe on a long motorway journey but most of the time comfort.

Sport modes for back roads and city driving for me mate

Appreciate that thank you! Have you found that you get a few more pops and bangs from the exhausts the more you break the car in and get more miles on the clock?

Eco Mode and BMW. Sounds like an oxymoron.

Yeah not sure where these guys are getting they figures.

During the run in period I was averaging 38 miles per gallon and on a decent journey (A roads) I was topping out at 45!

Now the car is run in I'm using a combination of comfort and sport mode with the gearbox in sport also and I'm still up above 30. 32 to be exact. Goodness knows how you can get it so low. must have a sledgehammer for a right foot!
