Differences between M8 Comp model years?

Hey Team!

Are there any differences I should be aware of between the 2020 M8 Competition Coupe and the newer 2021 or 2022 models? Technology?

I can only speak for Canada but 2021 didnt have the coupe on cabriolet M8. Only the Gran coupe. Everything else seems almost the same. Coupe and cabriolet have come back for 2022 MY

Same for the US. The only differences I am aware of between a 2020 and 2022 are certain options and component availability.

Option-wise, most notedly (at least to me), you could spec carbon buckets on the 2022, and the "Competition" no longer comes with Full Leather standard as it did for 2020 (however, there is the obvious price drop with competition itself now being "standard").

For those looking at 2022 models now and in the future, I think certain options/assumptions within packages are going to be the biggest issue due to availability of parts. You could see some threads about items like wireless charging not being available right now, so you just have to really look into what you're buying to make sure you understand what may be missing as a 2022 with a 3/21 build date and certain packages may be technically different than a 2022 with a 12/21 build date and those same packages.
