G90 M5 HEA Dealer Cars

Gotten word that dealerships have been given instructions to configure their HEA G90 M5 with a suspense date of March 1st

Without knowing too much details, dealership's decisions to sell HEA models may be restricted by various factors, likely restricted by BMW NA (i.e. release date, minimum days to display in showroom, etc)

However, I've been informed that BMW will be issuing 1 G90 M5 per dealership (HEA).

If you're interested in asking your dealer to customize their slot, do so before the deadline of March 1st

Colors available are:
Vegas Red
Brooklyn Grey
Carbon Black
Isle of Man Green
Marina Bay Blue
Individual Storm Bay Grey
Alpine White
Black Sapphire
Dark Graphite

Leather options are:
Black Merino
Anthracite with Silverstone
Anthracite with Red
Anthracite with Kyalami Orange

Wheel options are:
951M Bi-color Mignight Grey
951M, Black

Caliper options are:
Black
Red
Blue
Ceramic Brakes in Gold

No details on the G91 Wagon/Touring has been released, presumptions are that it will be released after the G90 M5 Sedan

Glad to see they're adding a bit more color to the HEA lineup than what was offered on the F90 originally.

What does the acronym HEA stand for? I’m guessing this is a show piece to show so the dealership and a not for sale first car?

I had to look this up too as I had forgotten and found in another Bimmerpost thread:

“Handler-Erst-Ausstattung, which in English transation from German means Dealer First Equipment”

I assume dealers don’t just let HEA vehicles go straight to a customer though, right? Presumably they’ll want it to sit in their show room for a while or even use it for some test drives for customers who want help deciding if the car is for them?

It probably also means "a car with a collection of options that no one in their right mind would pick".
