After 3 months of ownership, the one thing my 228ix GC lacks which i would love to add is an aftermarket exhaust/custom exhaust. Ive spent more than 30 hours looking for some sort of custom/aftermarket exhaust for the F44 228ix GC. All i am looking for is a deep tone with small burbles, similiar to how the f44 m235i sounds.

If anyone knows of any sound clips/ their own modifications it would be amazing.

Perhaps a rear box delete?

SuperSprint makes three different options for the F44 ranging from a normal muffler to a full-on delete. However, they are handmade in Italy and cost an arm and a leg. Other than that I would take it to a shop and see if you can get one custom made.

Got a Back Box delete (Muffler Delete) yesterday, was actually surprised with the sound and im pretty happy with it. Happy that im finally able to specify my car to how i like it.

I am either going to get a back box delete or a valvetronic exhaust with a catless downpipe. Not sure which one I want to do.
