Would be interesting to know how many M3/4 are built every week at full production. The E92 M3 launch in 2007 was staggered - I believe US got their first cars later than Europe. Would be interesting to know the exact true figure if allocations for UK this year.....if indeed there are limited allocations at all.

The autocar article says the topspeed can be lifted as an option. I don't see that option. I guess they mean as part of Competition package, but believe that will be available at a later date

That option is called the M Drivers Packge. It includes a couple of days at the BMW driving center on track etc as part if the deal. The limiter is then set at a higher top speed but not removed altogether. We cannot get this option in the UK. Don't think US get it either but is obviously available in Germany. I believe the price is around 2500 Euros. Not sure if it is available in Belgium or not.
