e83 x3 lift kit?

Hey guys, I have an 07 x3, and i was thinking of maybe doing a little lift for it, make more capable for the winter. Anyone do that before? how hard would it be? Currently I put 245/65/17 all-terrains on it, 2" taller, and 2" spacers for the wheels.
