Car attacked by animal

Came out to my car yesterday to find bite marks all along the front lower part of the front bumper - probably over 50 punctures in the paint, some quite deep into the plastic. Marks in the top edge line up with punctures under the front valance, (bottom 2 pics) suggesting upper and lower teeth biting into car. I live in an quiet urban area and, whilst I see lots of foxes, have never had a car attacked before. Also, just why? - Not much nutritional value in a plastic bumper !

Sorry to hear that you've experienced the same. The headscratcher now is whether to attempt repairs myself or bite the bullet and get it done professionally. Might do the former, and if it goes horribly wrong, I can always fall back on the pros. But, I'm a bit worried it might just happen again.

Thankfully my marks were not as bad just small nicks by the bumper so I have just dealt with it. You should see if your insured through warranty by dealership

No harm in asking I guess - for now, I'll carefully add some touch up, as I can't help seeing them every time I approach the car.
