Anyone try the 8Y Audi RS3 (2022+)

I'm tempted by the newer RS3 with the slightly more rear-biased torque distribution. I have a manual M2C, but I want to add a four-door to the garage as a second family car. I am looking for something that has a dual clutch (wife doesn't like driving manual) that could handle a few track sessions in a pinch (in case the M2C is sidelined for any reason right before an HPDE). I'm about to buy an F80 ZCP DCT, since I know I love my M2C on road and track and it's a very similar experience and mechanical setup (plus, I love the ability to easily code dampers, steering, diff, and traction/stability to my heart's content). However, the novelty, the 5-cylinder, and the diverse format (front-engine/AWD) tempt me to consider the RS3. I love being able to drive for slip or grip with my M2C, and I often oversteer it around on the road. I understand this would not be as doable, or be as natural, with the artificial torque-shuffling of the 8Y diff.

I bought a brand new Audi RS3 earlier this summer. I am embarassed to say how much I paid for it (well over MSRP). I hated it. It felt slow. Pathetic low-end torque. And it felt cheap inside. I ended up selling it after two months at a huge loss and bought a 2018 M3. Much happier.

Wider front tires and a transverse engine layout + Haldex
That's all you need to know about how it performs

i drove a ttrs a while back. very laggy at low speed. that extra 0.5 displacement and cylinder of the S55 make a difference on normal driving.

the only place the rs3 wins is on the interior layout and design imo.

go with the f80. its not a hooligan like the m2, but its more stable, quieter on the highway, better stereo, nicer leather. plus the cf roof and hud are nice touches.

Have you had a chance to drive the RS3? I hate the current car sales environment where you basically have to buy the car before you get to test drive it (at least with the rarer/limited performance cars). It's a lot of money and a big deal to go through with the purchase, and it takes a lot more time and money to undo a mistake. So, I would see if you can find a way to drive one before pulling the trigger.
