New 554M wheels came today. It's the first time ever I'm going down in size. I dunno what it is but this wheel in matte black looks amazing on this car!

Finally Done!

Every M performance accecory is now fitted to the car except for the side decals and wheel cap valve covers. Last item installed was the roof shark fin.

For anyone looking for a list I have compiled it here:

Front lip
Front aero flicks
Side skirts
Roof spoiler
Roof shark antenna
Alloy wheels
Forged carbon rear diffusor
Forged carbon mirror covers
carbon / titanium exhaust tips
Black badges
Floor mats
Alcantara steering wheel with carbon paddles
Shift knob

Sorry everyone for posting so often here, I just thought I would document it for anyone out there looking to do the same and maybe help someone who's undecided on the mods.

These are 18" tyres, right..?

I have the 18" Michelin PS4 tyres and am noticing a similar wear pattern (obviously the fronts are going to have outer wear because of turning etc)… 7/8,000 miles so far for me…

What pressures are you running.?

I run mine slightly lower than the sticker, and was wondering if that was partly causing it…

Right these are 18''

I think that's a « common issue »… Front end has grip and the front axle is really good but it comes at a price if you have spirited drive sometime.

I am running BMW recommended pressures. But for like 3k kms I runned slightly higher pressures (but still recommended by BMW has « economical » pressures).

Fortunately tires on those cars aren't the most expensive.

Thank you for sharing and to know that you have now fitted PS4* (19 inch wheels)

I fitted PS4S before the * was available.
The Bridgestone S005* in wet weather were dreadful: lots of understeer !
Low grip…
But a sharp handling.

Now with the PS4S: grip in roundabouts is outstanding even in wet conditions.
Better handling overall. Wear ? Only did 7000 kms and they still look good.

Can highly recommend the change: you will see how refined this chassis truly is.

The car already feels better (more precise and less road noise). Can't wait to have a spirited drive as soon as possible :-).
PS4* are for 18 inches wheels (mine) while there are now PS4S* dedicated to 19 inches wheels (only with passive suspension).

@Hedoniste Very nice!
I also changed tires recently, I decided to keep the same brand but went up one size in section width. I wondered why BMW put 225s on the 18 inch wheels and 235s on 19s. the diameter are completely different. With 235/40 r18 the diameter is now the same and there was a huge difference in grip! take a look at the difference in the pic below.

I just saw that 19 inches wheels have the same width (8 inches) as our 18. I prefer to keep * tires until the end of the warranty at least but I can imagine that the mecanical grip is improved since the tire is noticeably wider !
So less understeer?
