Question: Can you transplant TPMS?

Sorry for the highly medical terminology in the title...

I have 156s, one of which I think I'm going to need to replace (both wheel and tire). Can I take out the TPMS from the old wheel/tire and put it in the new one?

Yes, you can. Make sure your new wheels are compatible with TPMS sensors.

Oh, and will I keep getting a dashboard light if I don't put the TPMS from the old tire into the new one?
