No, I have a 2018 non-Comp. H&R M5 springs will lower a Comp, but not as much. A Comp is 10mm or 3/8 lower than a non-Comp. I can see and feel the difference and so could see and feel the difference if I started with a Comp, though the differences would be less. I personally would not want M550xi springs.

This is my 2018 non-comp lowered on H&R F90 M5 springs, spacers are F:15 / R:12.5
The drop was more than I expected and I'm quite happy with the way it looks. I'm assuming it will become slightly lower as the springs settle over time. I can't comment about the change in ride feel because I changed to these springs in about a week since I got this M5 (switched from F06 M6), but I have no issues with the ride feel.
