Did you try resetting the iPhone as described above? If you did and it's not working, the only other way to potentially fix the issue is to get the software updated via your local dealership. However, I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING SO IF YOU HAVE CODING! BMW has stripped ALL descriptive text from items that we normally change, making it almost impossible for novices to make needed changes. As of the 16th of May the following connected drive update is available online; TN-002.039.062 MN-002.039.060 The latest update (for the entire car) includes version; MN-002.052.001 TN-002.052.001 This may fix the issues you're experiencing or not. Good luck. |

And yes that is true about what you say about BMW making it very hard for novice coders. But V12 is the man and has already gotten past all that. I got my car recoded by him after I did my major BMW Software update from the dealer. It's stupid Apple that needs to fix the iOS software.

Sorry, no I didn't read the original post. I just think it's so weird you're having so many issues with iOS 8.3+iPhone 6, and it's working perfectly on my end.

was finally able to figure out my situation with the ipod and iphone. i can now connect to my car via USB and all the playlists work and that includes both an old ipod i had w/o the newest iOS and my 6 plus with latest iOS. What cord is everyone using to try to connect the car and device? when you guys connect devices via bluetooth does the playlist show up? all the shows up on mine is the option to go back and forth between tracks but doesn't give me any track info and i have to control everything via the ipod/iphone Last edited by iamvietness; 05-24-2015 at 04:32 PM.. Reason: finally worked |

Apple iOS 8.4 released today. The glitch appears to be fixed. Tested it a bunch of times this morning on my way to work after installing 8.4. No lock ups between the iPhone and the iDrive. Finally.
