we will find out. I asked the dealer to put that version of software on my X5 since it's in the shop (07/2019.38)

Pretty sure there aren't any hardware changes. I'm hoping this will be a software update

I don't think this is tied to the idrive software. I'm assuming the instrument cluster has a different software. I'm on the latest software (7/2019.39) and I don't have that

This is probably from a Test Drive unit that was for evaluation purpose only. Its called "Assisted Drive View" I remember there was a video on youtube about it. Below is the link to the post I made on the X07 Forums about it.

I am planning to post some footage of it in action. There seems to be some other subtle changes vs my previous G05.
My previous was at 3/2019.48 and at the time still did not have the experience, caring care and climate rules I had hoped for after each update. It would be nice to see this make it's way to the 19s. If I stilled owned a 19 and this update did not make it, I'd probably be seriously pissed and ask what the point of the remote software upgrade feature was. |

the option for enabling the Assisted Drive View does not exists for the 2019s that have been upgraded to a 07/2019.xx version. |

It may become available later, just like the caring car and experience features. I went through the updates on the previous 50i hoping they would install and never did. I think some people got the caring car and experience apps with the 3/2019 update.

yeah I just got them with the last update not that they're useful, which they aren't. there are some small don't changes, a little HUD change while using cruise control, and some menu phrasing but that's really it

Did you happen to ask the service guys why some had those features at 3/2019 and others with nothing until the 7 release? |
