Door not unlocking
Ran a search to no avail....
My drivers side door stopped unlocking It locks fine but won't unlock with the keyfob or dash button It will unlock if I use the key in the door. I've got an appoin. at the stealers but I thought I'd check it out here first. Has anybody else dealt with this Could this be a software issue ie needs a reflash? Thanks |

Most likely a mechanical problem. I think the door locks are still operated by vacuum. Have you called the dealer?

Had the same problem and they had to replace the actuator that locks and unlocks the door. They had to order the part and was a quick fix. Take it to the dealer and they will fix it! I posted the thread so you can do a search.

You dont have to dig up *every* door locking/unlocking thread to post your thread in it. The point of the search feature is so that:
1) You don't have to start your own thread. 2) You don't unnecessarily annoy everyone by discussing previously discussed/resolved issues. You managed to screw both those up. |

I did perform a search with multiple words as others who posted their own threads.
If you don't like the way I brought this issue up now AND you do not have or have not had this problem with your doors, simply read a thread you are interested in. As simple as that.

door problem
try replacing fuse 56 and 57. its a 15 amps fuse. got one spare in the fuse box under inside your glove compartment. your unlocking actuator is going to be a goner and probably caused the fuse to blow.
