Is it me or does the m perf. Rear spoiler make the car not as clean?
I feel like the spoiler on the car (especially white) doesnt look as clean!
I really like the look of the m4 rear with the rkp diffuser! Is there anyone here that owns the m4 m perf spoiler regret purchasing it? |

Love my m performance lip spoiler. I think it makes the trunk look more aggressive. It matches the lines on the trunk perfectly and compliments my carbon fiber roof.

Looks great. If you have the other carbon fiber parts such as the splitters, diffusor and especially the roof.
I think it would look out of place if it were an all white (or any color for that matter) car with no CF roof, and the only CF part was the spoiler.

Hate to sound like a dork, but I balanced all ends... Spoiler, roof and splitters. lol I don't think it ruins the lines at all. Then again I never saw my car with the color matched lip spoiler.

Op some colors also bring out the flaws of the m4. An ay without enhancements is not a pretty sight but with a few bits and pieces it works. Black hides everything, including the detailers tears. White is white no matter what you do.
I'm a bit weird when it comes to cars and I couldn't even look at mine until these minor issues were fixed. Without the spoiler it looked like an egg a kids had drawn a sharks face to it. It had no lines to spot in the back. Now I can park like a normal person!

Has anyone seen (or have any pics) of the spoiler and lip on the mineral grey? I think the contrast on white cars looks great. But I'm curious how it would go with grey.

I am with you. I am not fully bought into the rear deck spoiler on a light coloured car. To me, it sometimes looks tacked-on and and not fully integrated with the body. I do find it looks awesome on dark coloured cars though .
I do want it though for my SS M4, but I am still on the fence. I am thinking of adding a Silverstone CRT line in on the edge so integrates better.

I think the color matched CRT line makes all the difference.
I have a YMB 4 that I have been on the fence about doing the M performance Spoiler but if I do CRT stripe will be a must would look killer on your SS CanAut !!

I agree that some color pop with the CF bits - white for example - it really ties the car together as above with the front and rear spoilers and CF roof. Looks great.
I have SSII M3 and actually really like the look of the stock spoiler lip, but am adding a CF diffuser....depending on how that looks it may then demand a CF spoiler in back and would tie together better, but I'm not sure how the spoiler alone would look by itself - so would seriously consider the painted edge, or just have a completely painted M-performance spoiler placed. |

By the way, Sterling BMW has a pretty good deal for the OEM M4 spoiler for $450 shipped via eBay. About $30 cheaper than everyone else. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F82-M4-M...fc3f35&vxp=mtr

There have already been some BMW dealers selling the performance spoiler for 420 dollars if you search hard enough

Not as clean as the OEM trunk but gives it a more aggressive look
