I must be so unlucky, ordered mine in July 21 and only now due in April 22 !!

I did ask the salesman and said its literally just luck of the draw really when it comes to waiting times. Hoping everyone isn't waiting too much longer

Do you get to have a look at the list of available reg numbers?
When I got my Audi they showed me a list and was able to chose.
There was nothing exciting or special but at least I as able to make sure I didn’t have KKK as the last 3 letters.

No I’ve sent an e-mail asking for an explanation of why cars are being built in what appears to be at random, taking no notice of order dates, so waiting on reply but not chasing. I’ve also not been able to get an explanation from BMW UK to make an informed decision so have started looking at other manufacturers whilst this is on order and will make a decision nearer the time, or even let them deliver it and will probably tell them to shove it as I’m not being treated like an idiot. See how they like it…if they can’t give me information then they don’t get my money, simple.

I am guessing it which biggest dealers have build slots and how much they push orders. It is something I will consider in future. I looked at other dealers and dates for builds were just as bad so thought keep going on the order as I was already 5 months in.

I wasn't given any options of registrations to choose from. I'd imagine anything remotely offensive/inappropriate would just not be issued by the DVLA?

No. The guy at BMW says it’s the end of March. He’s telling me possibly the 29th unless it gets pushed back.

The delays continue!

Picking it up on Friday now as i've come down with Covid. Thought it best to delay until feeling better although dealership wasn't too fussed they said I could come collect yesterday if I wanted to but its been a rough few days 🤒

I want to be able to enjoy the collection so what is a couple more days if i've waited 6 months right? 😂

I'd say in the current climate, 6 months is the minimum wait to expect

From my experience alone you are looking at minimum 6 months wait, so far mine has been 9 months

After many years away from BMW (bounced around the other german brands) picking up my 2022 228i GC tomorrow. Funny enough there are about 34 available in Phoenix and are sold at MSRP (plus available rebates)

We received an email from the dealer , they said great news we have your build date but the bad news is it the end of 2022 , we ordered mid October last year .
