Autogefuhl M235i Gran coupe review- better steering than a 3 series!
Thomas at Autogefuhl is very thorough with his reviews and usually spot on. It's interesting how this car gets so much hate and is judged so much without the person even driving it. Maybe it's threatening that a FWD bias BMW could possibly be more fun than the holy RWD 3 series sedan.
Start around the 30 minute mark where he describes the driving feel and comparison to the 3 series: Glad to know i am not the only one that had the same exact opinion when driving this car after having a 330i for 3 years. Anyone else agree? I'm very seriously considering this for my next car.

All I know is when I test drove a 3 series a few years ago was it wasn't good enough to replace my current vehicle at that time, which was a 2013 A3 saloon.

I drove the 2023 330i (30 min test drive) and 2023 m235i GC (1500km) and hands down the m235i GC was much more fun and lively. Nice aural pops and farts from the exhaust (enhanced by sound option). Quick and suspension was sporty tight and damped.
The m235i GC torque and power 'pulls' strong (front wheell drive bias xdrive) versus the atypical bmw model that pushes from a rear wheel drive bias xdrive car. |
