Any info on the 2 series GC facelift / LCI ?

Being released in 2019, this car should be due for a facelift but there's literally no information out there...Any ideas? I see the 1 series and x2 are getting re-designs for 2023.

They did discontinue the 228i GC in 2021 as it was only produced in 2020 and 2021 then in 2022 they added the M240i Coupe and kept the M235i GC. I don't think there will be a facelift as they are pushing the coupe 2 series more and working on the M2. I predict it's not long until the M235i GC is also discontinued.

The low powered gc petrol and diesels are still available to order in the UK as well. Not discontinued at all..

Well poor Canada, Ford are stopping orders for some it's models https://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/ford-...20time%20being. I wonder if this is the same.

There is a LCI version coming through, production dates from July '22. They are adding new pack options. There is a small press release on the BMW press site. The German website has some info, including some of the new option packs.

I'm keeping my eye on the 'new stock' BMW website to see if any 2 series GC are coming through with the red pro package calipers, presume that'll be the sign post of the LCI...

Sad that the F44 will not be getting iDrive8 like the G42 two series coupe is receiving for 2023 models. I would imagine that the F44 has sales numbers than the G42, but considering the F44 is similar to the X1 and X2 I assume in 2024 they will do a proper refresh…

I'm not sure if this came in the earlier version. My 2023 235i GC has the M Sport Pro Package with LSD and stiffer spring and damper settings with a 10mm lower ride height and newly available Dynamic Damper Control. It does ride stiff. Similar to McLaren sport mode. I was thoroughly surprised on the stiffness ... which I do enjoy.

No longer see the M235xi on BMW Canada's website? Can someone confirm that its also been discontinued for 2023? Surprised they nixed it in Canada and not the States..I'm assuming the USA is next.

Gone along with 4 series gran coupe gas models.

The model year typically ends in September.

My Toronto dealer said that the last production month for MY23 was October.He said that BMW Canada still might do another production run for Canada when MY24 production starts in July 2023.According to the future model thread production of the F44 is still going to October 2024.
