A Ford Focus looks better than this, believe me, a more cohesive and better proportioned design, albeit a bit generic.
Wife has a focus for the kid hauler. Wagon and 6MT. Fun to drive for an all arounder and eco boost is legit. Looks better and costs way less. Did I mention 6MT??

Wow, that actually looks really good, sadly Ford doesn't believe in the future for cars in America.

Yup, kinda crazy you can get such a good Ford in the EU but not in the US. This one is built in Germany

The front grill, okay I understand that BMW is trying to increase grill size now that this one is probably smallest of all future grill sizes.

The back is the biggest problem of the car. I totally agree. Very TALL. And the horizontal line with protruding (why in the heck is this protruding?) BMW logo does NOT go with the car whatsoever. I mean, I am not at professional with car design but this is just too much.

Easy answer to the original question, regardless of opinions on exterior design. The BMW (or just about anything) is better because it is not made by VWAG. As a prior Audi customer, treated so poorly with a $60k+ low quality vehicle, I'd never send a nickle their way again and advise others similarly.
