Tpms question

I have got and set of 405's for my 63 reg f30, they have the alloy stemmed valves on, but the ones on my 403's are the rubber stemmed ones with metal cap. Will these work with my car or do I have to change the alloy stemmed ones to he rubber type. Anyone got the alloy ones on a 2013 car?

They must still tell the car if there is a loss in pressure to put warning light on. Or am I missing something.

In direct TPMS uses the rotation speed of the wheel, sensed by the abs, to show a deflated tyre and direct TPMS uses the bolt in sensor to send a pressure via low frequency signal to the car. One senses pressure the other just senses pressure loss or deflation.

You'll be fine. If it was the other way around, you'd of had to change them.
