NBT EVO Purchasing advice

I'm thinking about doing an NBT ID 6 Retrofit to my 2016 340 that currently has NBT EVO ID4 and I'm a little confused with regards to all the options.

I'd like to find a HW4.1 unit, just wondering if all the units are the same between different vehicles? Is a headunit from an f22 the same as a headunit from a f30? Does it matter?

It will be same. Headunits are shared across models.

If you plan on using your current ID4 screen, you'll likely need the firmware downgraded since any firmware after March 2018 will not support these displays and will give you the random black screen issue.

Hello Steve,

I have a 2015 F23 and was trying to figure out how to get CarPlay? Reading through the other forums I have seen needing a module and then some just say coding. Can you help me get squared away? I can also send the VIN if necessary. Thank you.
