Rear Diffuser
So I'd like to add the M-Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser to my M4 order. However, I can't seem to actually find that part anywhere on BMW's website. Those of you who have the diffuser, where can I actually find it? The closest thing I've found appears to be from iND:
http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...e-f8x-diffuser I'm not sure if that's the actual genuine BMW M-Perfromance part or not. The part number is formatted differently from the other parts I have fond (front splitters and trunk spoiler) Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

So I was just told that BMW does not sell genuine parts to anyone except authorized BMW dealers. The parts from IND are made by a Japanese company called 3D Design. Is that true?!? If so, the IND website is EXTREMELY misleading.

We also offer many other product lines that are not related to BMW. We sell products from Vorsteiner, 3D Design, RKP, and many other composite manufacturers, but that does not relate to our direct purchasing relationship with BMW.

Takes at least 5 tries every time for me. I wear a size 12 so no small shoe going under there and it's just unreliable. I've read the manual on this section to make sure I'm doing it right and it's just not well engineered I'm afraid. Anyone who knows the trick please pipe up.

I'm thinking of adding a rear spoiler to my m4. do I really need to install the front splitter as well per the bmw website? Is this necessary or is bmw just trying to sell another part?

The M-Performance rear diffuser is on worldwide back order with over 860+ back orders in the US alone. Estimated release date is 1/21/2015. I call BMW every morning and the release date has changed 20 times already.
