forget it, I'm getting out of my lease, anyone interested?

With gas prices only going up, I'm seriously thinking of getting a pre-owned coupe (335), and getting a scooter for city driving.

Here's my vehicle if anyone is interested in picking up my lease:
cost: $1070.60 + 13% tax = $1209.77
Car has 8600km, can drive up to 72000km

2008 E93 (cabriolet) - was one of the first '08 shipments into Canada
Lease is 36 months originally
First month of Lease was November '07
There is around 8500km on the vehicle

Vehicle specs:

Monaco Blue/Saddle
Loaded
no navi
USB
19 inch rims
Windscreen

serious inquiries only, pls.

Unlike my previous autoshow special, this car is perfect. Not a single problem since I've had it.

I may go grab a used A4 or A5 or used 335 somewhere

With $1200 per month lease payment, plus $300-$500 per month in gas, plus my insurance, $2000 per month for a car is just nuts.

Just understand that if we come to an agreement, you'll have to be patient until I get another car...

let me clarify. I don't wait until my tank is bone dry before I fill up so I'm usually at about $70 when I do hit the pumpts, so more like $210

Thank God my company pays for all my gas. An expense I will never have to incur.

I'm at the pump nearly every day, spending 3-4 hours just commuting to and from work. That is why on the really nice days, I take the bike. I love getting 50 miles per gallon, but it does a number on my suits.

what happens if you get a different job?

also, remember that when an employer pays for medical/dental, car expenses, etc. they often factor this into what your base pay will be.

well, to be honest, I golf 3-4 days a week, and so, I'm looking at a full tank of gas every week, so around $300 per month during the summer. So whether gas is $200 or $400 per month is really moot. The point is gas is gonna keep going up, as such, I'm basically looking to stop the bleeding where I can. It's not that I can't afford the car, I'm just starting to think how ridiculously expensive the cabriolet is, when I can get a great car for much less, and ride around in the summer on a little scooter.

Knowing me, I'll get an M3 cab next summer.

Post it up on leasebusters.com. You're going to have to provide some incentive for someone to take over your lease though.

If a recession is looming, it's going to be harder and harder for owners to get rid of high priced toys. So if you're going to do it, do it now.

Agree on the incentive esp that current lease rates are 4.9% on E93 and dealers providing 5-6% discount on brand new.

Yes but I opted for the $4k cash back on cash purchase. Can't wait my car is waiting to be loaded on a ship in Europe.

The 2% BTW is a little deceiving - they decreased the resid so your payment did go down but not as much as you think.

Even if they pay for your gas, if you own the car, you have to consider the wear and tear... of course, if you lease the car, that's a different story...
